Marisco by Maddalena Casadei and Brezza Relax by Alessandro Stabile

A rug and a lounge chair – two complementary products, two distinct creative processes united by a shared spirit: that of S-CAB. The 2025 outdoor collection introduces a world of colour, comfort and design. Marisco and Brezza Relax capture the essence of contemporary living, combining visual appeal and functionality in solutions that enhance open-air spaces. With cutting-edge materials and a vibrant colour palette, S-CAB redefines the concept of outdoor relaxation, offering unique sensory experiences and a harmonious dialogue with the environment.

“Every project is born from the interweaving of inspirations: personal references, focused research or even chance discoveries. The images we carry within us, shaped by direct experiences and unforgettable memories, become the starting points for new creations. This is how Marisco came to life – a polypropylene rug that reinterprets the ancient Sardinian tradition of cane coverings. Its weave recalls the timeless craftsmanship of roofs and mats, enriched by a coloured thread that moves with its own rhythm, creating a harmonious balance between tradition and innovation.” Maddalena Casadei

The rugs are crafted on handlooms using synthetic fibre yarn. The particular process, which combines weaving, interlacing and hand-applied detailing, lends these pieces the thickness and elegance of indoor rugs. The polypropylene yarn performs excellently in outdoor settings, offering durability, resistance to weathering and UV exposure, and ease of maintenance and cleaning.

Brezza Relax – design by Alessandro Stabile, the outdoor lounge chair

The Brezza outdoor collection, created to embody the principles of circular design, is further enriched by a bold and unexpected addition: Brezza Relax.

“Brezza Relax is a generous padded lounge chair that sits gently on the floor, inviting you to sit back and enjoy a moment of socialising or rest. Its identity is expressed by the archetypal shape of two large, plump cushions that come together to form the seat and backrest. The individual modules can be placed side by side and joined to create a potentially endless sofa. The project focused on simplifying fabric cuts and on creating a product that, like the rest of the collection, combines the metal frame and upholstery in a simple yet effective way.” Alessandro Stabile

Designed for outdoor spaces, it is also available in a special striped fabric, exclusive to S-CAB, featured in colours selected by the designer.

Brezza Relax takes the concept of traditional floor-level outdoor seating a step further, shifting it towards a more prestigious and elegant aesthetic. Additional technical note: the lower part of the frame raises the seat a few centimetres off the ground, helping to keep the product dry and clean at all times.

Fabric options: 5 striped options, with custom colour combinations for S-CAB (ranging from classic cream/hazelnut to bold turquoise/red), 2 textured fabrics, and 2 solid colour options in beige and brown tones.
