Four different interpretations of contemporary living are reflected in four distinct designs: Craig, Michael, Douglas, and Sinatra—each one playing a key role in creating bespoke, comfortable spaces. Whether for residential interiors or adaptable to larger contexts such as contract settings, these new sofas offer a practical and versatile solution to every design need.

Craig

The Craig sofa fits into a soft, sculptural aesthetic, distinguished by its rounded, sinuous lines that define the arms and backrest. Inspired by natural forms, the enveloping backrest cradles the removable cushions, creating an all-round, inviting silhouette that is perfect for moments of conviviality.

The armrest, a signature element, opens like a protective gesture, transforming each seat into a cosy corner. Craig is available in a wide range of configurations: from linear compositions for one-to-one conversations to angular setups or chaise longue solutions, available in rounded or squared versions, designed for versatile and dynamic spaces.

Michael

With Michael, a careful reinterpretation of Italian craftsmanship conveys a strong sense of belonging and attention to detail: the backrest stitching creates a subtle play of textures, while the gros grain piping elegantly defines the profiles.

Born from a desire to step away from rigid geometries, Michael’s modular structure is designed to change form naturally. During the design process, the various combinable elements — from footstool poufs to open-back modules — were conceived to allow flexible configurations. The rounded cushions not only soften its overall profile but also make the sofa easy to place in more compact residential settings or contract spaces, where aesthetics and functionality need to coexist.

Douglas

In the Douglas sofa, the clean, linear silhouette contrasts with the inviting softness of its feather-blend cushions. Thanks to the removable and reversible armrests and backrests, the living space can be easily and creatively reconfigured, while the seat—enhanced with an innovative polyurethane microfiber—offers both structure and comfort.

The wide range of modules offers complete freedom of composition: from corner configurations to central layouts, from chaise longues to elegant, rounded peninsulas.

Sinatra

With its monolithic presence and striking visual impact, Sinatra is a modular system that combines bold proportions with a deep, inviting seat. The solidity of Sinatra reveals the precision and care behind every detail: the adjustable backrest allows the angle to be changed with ease, offering ergonomic support that naturally adapts to any posture.

Modular design continues to be a signature feature of Cattelan Italia’s upholstery: Sinatra can easily be reconfigured as a central island for relaxation, a welcoming corner layout with a peninsula, or a sequence of linear elements completed with poufs and chaise longues.
