UZIN products used to install new floor at Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust
A UZIN system was used to install approximately 120 m2 of vinyl flooring at the A&E reception at Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust. This was a particularly difficult job for the flooring contractor, Superior Finish (Contracts) Ltd because access to the area is needed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The refurbishments therefore needed to be completed within a day in certain areas so as not to disrupt the departments functioning. UZIN’s fast track product system and 5:00 am starts by Superior Finish (Contracts) Ltd provided the solution.
Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust is committed to providing the highest standards of healthcare, so also required a low emission flooring installation. UZIN PE 360 was first used to prime the floor, before UZIN NC 172, a rapid drying smoothing compound, was applied to create a flat substrate. UZIN KE 2000 S, a low VOC adhesive, was then used to install the vinyl floor. The system performed perfectly and the whole area, including 3 toilets was completed in just 5 days.
