Ceramique Internationale Launches Extensive Stone-Effect Range

Leading tile specialist, Ceramique Internationale, has launched an exclusive new range of innovative porcelain floor tiles featuring a unique cross-over effect.
Created by leading Italian tile manufacturer Ricchetti, and previewed at the recent Cersaie exhibition, the Cocoon range takes inspiration from the natural stone market and uses the latest in digital printing technology to enhance the realism of each individual tile. The result is a highly varied aged-effect tile combining the aesthetics of cement and natural stone, which sits as comfortably in a rustic cottage as it does in a contemporary city flat.
The multi-sized series is available in six colours across seven sizes and formats. Ceramique Internationale is offering the large format 600 x 1200mm slabs; 600 x 600mm squares and 300 x 600mm oblongs in three authentic shades of MultiBeige, MultiColour and White. Alternative sizes and colours are available to order, on a lead time of 21 days.
The rectified tiles specifically cater for the popular a pre-determined fixing composition, using a variety of sizes to create a striking design and make ordering and fitting simple. In addition, all sizes are available to order individually.
The range also includes two small format, 14mm thick cobble-style tiles suitable for outdoor use. Featuring a rustic, wavy edge, these glazed tiles provide an inventive addition to the external tile market, which is typically catered for only with larger format, 20mm thick rectified tiles.
Peter Vann, Director of Ceramique Internationale, said: “Ricchetti produces fantastic, of-the-moment collections and indeed is responsible for our ever-popular Chateaux mixed size range.
“The range of shapes and sizes within the Cocoon collection offers unlimited opportunities for distinctive designs and also enables the creation of stunning indoor-outdoor natural stone aesthetics for our clients.”
Ceramique Internationale employs 18 people, six of whom have been with the company for more than 20 years. Its Leeds warehouse holds 100 square meters of tiles in stock at any one time, comprising hundreds of styles of floor and wall tiles, mosaics and associated products.
