Northern Journeys: an exhibition and a publication

Canadian firm Blouin Orzes architectes is proud to announce its participation in Time Space Existence, a major group exhibition organized by the European Cultural Centre (ECC).

The event will take place in the heart of historical Venice, from May 10 to November 23, 2025, during the duration of the 19th edition of the International Venice Architecture Biennale.

The architects will be available prior to the official opening, May 8 and 9, to answer questions from the media. Blouin Orzes’ participation revolves around their first-hand understanding of Inuit territories where they have been working since 2000.

Visitors to Palazzo Mora, which will host their presentation (Stand 207 D), will be able to get the feeling “they are travelling along with Blouin Orzes as they meet Elders for a consultation meeting, or traverse challenging terrain in blizzards.”

These comments by Toronto architect Mason White refer to Blouin Orzes’ recent publication, Northern Journeys, which served as a source of inspiration for their Venice exhibition.
