Festival des Architectures Vives 2025: Teams and Projects

The Festival des Architectures Vives 2025 will take place from June 10-15, 2025, in Montpellier, France, with free admission from 9am to 7pm (2pm to 7pm on June 10th).
In 2025, the Festival des Architectures Vives returns under the delicious theme of “La gourmandise.”
“La Gourmandise”, usually associated with the pleasure of the taste buds, will be revealed in an architectural dimension where materials, shapes, and spaces will be transformed into a veritable celebration of desire. Far from being a simple sin, gluttony becomes a vector for creativity and innovation. The installations will awaken the desire to be explored, tasted with the eye, and savored with the mind. For this delicious edition, the talented pastry chef from Montpellier, Clara Jung, will be the patron.
This 19th edition of the Festival, from June 10 to 15, 2025, promises a celebration where the pleasures of the eyes and senses rival those of the taste buds.

Environmental commitment
The Festival des Architectures Vives reaffirms its commitment to sustainability by implementing a rigorous environmental charter. Again in partnership with Mas Réemploi, the Festival encourages the use of recycled materials and creative reuse in the design of installations. Each team is supported in reducing its carbon footprint, with the option of drawing on Mas Réemploi’s online catalog for their material needs. When the projects are dismantled, Mas Réemploi will collect the materials for re-use.
Mas Réemploi will carry out a carbon assessment of the installation to evaluate its environmental impact, and an environmental prize will be awarded for the most innovative approaches.
