FLORIM stone

“FLORIM stone” is the Florim brand dedicated to furniture and worktop applications, especially in kitchens and bathrooms.

Produced in large-format slabs (320×160 cm) and available in three thicknesses (6, 12, and 20 mm), the material supports a wide variety of design requirements across both interior and exterior spaces.

Manufactured in Italy using advanced porcelain stoneware technology, “FLORIM stone” reflects over sixty years of research and development in the ceramic sector.

The material is appreciated for its technical performance and aesthetic flexibility, combining the visual richness of natural surfaces with the durability and precision of industrial processes.

With a wide palette of over fifty finishes inspired by stone, marble, concrete and metal, “FLORIM stone offers interior designers and architects a practical tool for projects that demand long-lasting surfaces with a refined, contemporary character. Multiple edge design options further expand its range of applications.

As part of Florim’s broader environmental strategy, “FLORIM stone” is included in the CarbonZero project, which aims to fully offset CO₂ emissions across the entire lifecycle of the product. The surfaces meet NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) standards, allowing for direct contact with food.

They are also heat-resistant, stain-resistant, waterproof, and easy to clean – properties that make them well-suited for use in high-performance environments without compromising on design.

During Milan Design Week 2025, “FLORIM stone” introduced new designs to its range. Among them, the Stone Dijon finish draws inspiration from natural limestones found in the Burgundy region of France – particularly the soft, neutral qualities of Dijon stone. Its subtle veining and occasional fossil inclusions evoke a material memory while maintaining a minimal and modern aesthetic.

The brand’s ongoing work in the field of sustainable design was acknowledged with the Green Good Design Award 2024, recognising efforts to integrate innovation, environmental responsibility and visual culture.
