Co-living brand recognised as the Top UK Co-Living Community
Folk (www.folkcoliving.com), the co-living brand on a mission to set a new standard for renting, and its Harrow location, The Palm House, has been voted as the best co-living community in the UK and the best place to live in North London.
At the Homeviews Resident Choice Awards 2024, hosted in February, the Palm House by Folk was recognised as the best place to live in North London while also being voted the top co-living community in all of the UK with residents referring to the property as “A beautiful place to live”, “perfect balance of privacy and social life” and saying “I would recommend to anyone and everyone”.
Folk is on a mission to set a new, higher standard for renting by making it about building communities and being somewhere people are proud to call home. The co-living brand, with connection in mind, also tackles the loneliness epidemic hitting London. Folk properties connect people from all walks of life in diverse communities that are also designed with renters wants and needs in mind.
Since opening in 2022, The Palm House has been cleverly designed and maintained to meet Folk’s key pillars of community and connection, providing amazing communal spaces that encourage social interaction and the formation of new friendships.
Taking note from extensive renter research and changing behaviour due to the pandemic, Folk set out to provide a new standard for renting that not only tackled a growing feeling of isolation and loneliness amongst renter in the capital but also the traditional pain-points tenants face within the London rental market including large deposits, poor work from home environments and little or no outdoor space.[1]
Built across eight floors, the property itself, with studio apartments starting from £1,445, offers a bills included rental agreement with the addition of access to shared spaces such as a gym, roof terraces, on-site restaurant, 24/7 on-site team and more. The site is also conveniently located a 12 minute train journey from Euston and just a three minute walk from Harrow and Wealdstone station.
Since receiving this award, The Palm House has also announced a limited time deal in which renters can receive £600 off their rent when signing a 12 month lease
