New Associates Join Vlan

Founded in 1999, Vlan is a dynamic, fast-growing firm specializing in landscape architecture, urban design, and land planning. For 25 years, the team has been creating vibrant spaces that reveal the essence of landscapes.
Today, Vlan is pleased to announce that landscape architects Mira Haidar and Jean-Marc Pommier are becoming partners, joining founders Micheline Clouard and Julie St-Arnault, further strengthening the executive team.
Their leadership, expertise, and strategic vision enhance the firm’s growth and support the development of bold projects that shape people’s lives, time, and imagination. These appointments mark a significant milestone in Vlan’s evolution as it continues to expand across Canada.
Mira Haidar is a project manager, as well as a heritage expertise lead. With Vlan for seven years, she contributes to business development and company management. Mira holds degrees in landscape architecture and built heritage conservation. A versatile and dedicated professional, she teaches at the School of Landscape Architecture at the Université de Montréal and serves on the Montreal Heritage Council.
Jean-Marc Pommier is a project manager and in charge of technical expertise within the firm. He has degrees in landscape architecture and classical studies. He has been with Vlan for five years, helping to manage operations and the company. With 15 years of experience in landscape architecture, and more than 10 years in IT data architecture, Jean-Marc is also responsible for the optimization of Vlan’s protocols.
The contribution of Jean-Marc Pommier and Mira Haidar as partners reinforces the firm’s commitment to excellence in design. It is also thanks to the passion and creativity of the team that Vlan continues to evolve and innovate.
