Duravit thrilled with innovation and design

The complete bathroom manufacturer looks back on a successful trade fair
ISH, the world’s leading trade fair for innovative bathroom design, energy efficient heating and air-conditioning technology and renewable energies, took place from 17 to 21 March 2025 in Frankfurt. This year’s event drew around 163,157 visitors, and roughly half came from outside Germany. Duravit AG presented its new products on an 800 m2 stand.
“ISH once again proved itself to be a melting pot for national and international visitors and showed us how valuable direct dialog with our partners is. We’ve
been overwhelmed by the enthusiastic feedback on our new Balcoon range by designer Patricia Urquiola. Similarly, the wholly positive resonance towards our technological innovation, the Hero Edition of the ME by Starck toilet, gives us confidence,” said Stephan Tahy, CEO of Duravit AG. “For us as a premium supplier, the trade fair is an important showcase where we can physically present our brand products and enhance the dialog with our customers.”
Unique design highlights
Duravit presented its latest innovations in bathroom design and sustainable technologies at ISH under the motto of “Upgrade your everyday”. The new Balcoon design collection by Patricia Urquiola is worthy of a special mention. The collection combines minimalistic design with high levels of functionality and customization options. It includes a wide range of products that are both aesthetically appealing and also satisfy day-to-day requirements. In Balcoon, Patricia Urquiola has created a series that is the perfect addition to modern lifestyles while also satisfying the highest standards in terms of design and quality.
Experts on the ground and industry trends
The trade fair provided plenty of insights into current industry trends and technological developments. Experts from product management and sales were on hand to speak to the specialist audience. The Hero Edition of the latestevolution of the ME by Starck toilet, which combines timeless and established design with the latest technologies, was a particular highlight. This features the powerful, almost silent DuraFlush rotational flushing technology as well as the antibacterial DuraShield® ceramic glaze for the first time. Visitors were able to experience the ease of use and straightforward installation for themselves thanks to interactive events. Duravit additionally celebrated the ten-year anniversary of its “top tradesman” program and thanked its partners for their long-standing collaboration.
