Certified LEED Gold and FitWel, the Office Supports Sustainability, Employee Well-Being, and Creativity
Since opening, the Intuit Atlanta office, home of Mailchimp, continues to set the standard for experiential workplaces. The 360,000-square-foot, amenities-rich office is designed to support over 2,000 employees while accommodating flexible work models and future team expansion. Located in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward, the purpose-built space aims to drive innovation, sustainability, and employee well-being.
San Francisco–based Studio O+A was initially engaged to shape the project’s concept and corporate identity, a vision that grew into a strong design partnership with TVS, an Atlanta-based architecture, interior design, and planning firm, and Wink Creative, Intuit Mailchimp’s in-house creative agency.
The overall design centers on diverse environments that are tailored to specialized work, individual needs, and collaboration. Key to the concept is a network of colorful team “neighborhoods” that unify employees while honoring the character and focus of each team. These spaces create deep connections within and across departments, facilitating creative work and community building.
“This project exemplifies our philosophy of designing workplaces that elevate culture and empower people,” explains Lindsey Kious, Principal and Design Lead of TVS’s Workplace Studio.
“Our goal was to create a workplace that is vibrant, brand-forward, and highly functional. We are already receiving encouraging feedback from staff, and we look forward to seeing how the flexible and people-centered environment will continue to evolve alongside the talent and teams who use it.”
From material and color choices to spatial expression, the design reflects Intuit and Mailchimp’s distinct brand personalities, infusing the office with vibrancy and a clear departure from traditional corporate aesthetics.
Purpose-built amenities, including content studios, maker spaces, and a dynamic town hall, enable experimentation and storytelling to engage internal teams, Intuit’s broader creative network, and its customers.
Further demonstrating TVS’s commitment to designing responsible, high-performance environments, the Intuit Atlanta office is LEED Gold and FitWel certified, underscoring its alignment with the highest standards of sustainability and employee well-being. From resilient digital and physical infrastructure to thoughtful wellness-focused spaces, the office sets a benchmark for workplaces that serve both people and the planet.
TVS’s work continues to redefine what the modern workplace can be: a platform for collaboration, creativity, and meaningful community impact, rooted in a sustainable and inspiring design.
As a representation of the company’s forward-looking culture, Intuit Atlanta unifies and empowers employees and collaborators alike, bringing personality and a people-first alternative to conventional corporate design.
