McBains appoint Mark Baseby as Director of its Architecture team

Industry consultancy McBains has strengthened its senior team by appointing Mark Baseby as Director of its Architecture team.

Having worked at the design agency since 2000, Mr Baseby has risen up through the ranks from Architect to Associate, and most recently, Project Director.

He his new role as Director of Architecture, he will take the lead on a number of residential schemes, and projects for BAe, as well seeking to develop further the blue light and custodial sector.

Mr Baseby has led on many significant projects for McBains including BAE Systems’ new training facility at the defence giant’s submarine yard in Barrow-in-Furness; the new divisional headquarters for Lancashire Constabulary and the expansion of Windsor Boys and Girls Schools.
