Mito Land Ltd is a newly established land sales, development and architecture consultancy, based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. Its directors are Toby Lambert MRICS, a chartered surveyor with an extensive track record in residential land transactions, and Michael Margereson, a seasoned development expert with a background in both commercial and residential planning. Toby and Michael will work with Philip Ashenden MCIAT, a design consultant with over 20 years of experience in architectural and urban planning for major UK housebuilders.

With almost a century of combined industry experience, Mito Land’s directors bring extensive expertise in land agency, development consultancy and design. The company will provide specialist expertise to landowners and SME developers. Its formation coincides with the government’s aspiration to bring forward a considerable 1.5 million new homes before the next general election and has introduced measures to support SME housebuilders including the Home Building Fund Extension, Housing Guarantees and Greener Homes Alliance loans initiative.

With the government pledging a commitment to housebuilders of all sizes, we expect to see more opportunities for smaller, well-planned residential sites, especially in the Home Counties and East of England where demand is very high.”

Toby Lambert and Michael Margereson will work closely with consultant Philip Ashenden. The design, urban planning and masterplanning expertise witing Mito Land will ensure that clients’ developments align with local planning guidelines and current market demands, offering innovative design solutions which are integrated into the development scheme from Day One.

Mito Land will initially operate across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
