Montpelier Joinery

Montpelier Joinery is brought to the market by the makers of Prime Oak; Andrew Whitlock and Warren Lowe. Our goal is to provide superior products that are more durable and outperform any yet seen in the market place, and by doing so, improve the lifestyle of discerning homeowners. Our products are all produced using Accoya timber, giving unrivalled durability and performance beyond any other timber product in the market today.
Accoya timber is becoming an increasingly popular material due to its quality, strength and versatility. Accoya has so little movement it limits paint cracks forming due to the wood expanding, taking the finish and quality to a new dimension.
Bi-folding Doors and Windows
Our bi-folding doors and windows provide a great solution for dark rooms and create a seamless link from your home to your garden, opening in mere seconds. Not only do they help to enhance the property’s character but they also offer panoramic views of your garden throughout the year. Our bi-folding doors and windows are a quintessential addition to any household and can be designed to bespoke measurements and fitted into existing openings.
Replacement Windows
We also offer made-to measure replacement windows in both flush casement and sliding sash designs, hand-painted in your choice of colour.
Casement windows
Traditional, flush fitting casements are still incredibly popular, presenting a timeless look with a function that is hard to beat. Our casement windows come in two distinct styles, traditional and contemporary, giving you the option to choose the design that would best complement your property. Traditional casement feature windows that close flush into the frames are more commonly found on period properties, whilst contemporary casements are typically found on more modern properties.
Sash Windows
Our sash windows come in a choice of traditional cord and weights, or a mere modern spiral balance system. The use of Accoya plays a huge part in ensuring our sash windows operate effortlessly due to the timbers inherent ability to withstand both shrinkage and swelling. Together with incredibly tight tolerances that our modern machining allows, and the care and attention to detail our hand-finishing provides, the completed window has an incredible smoothness of operation every time.
Personalisation Options
To ensure that the window specified meets all the client’s needs, and if necessary, the needs of local planners and conservation officers, we offer a full range of personalisation options, such as; Georgian bars, single or double glazing and antique leading. These are further complimented by our traditional, high quality ironmongery in pewter, bronze, satin nickel or solid brass and a choice of standard and bespoke paint finishes.
