As part of the Rochdale town centre improvement scheme, Street Design were specified to manufacture and supply a number of timber planters.

The Castleton versatile planter was selected due to the flexibility of its design, making it suitable for a number of applications throughout the town centre.

A number of shapes were specified including, circular, elliptical and rectangular. The planters were manufactured in natural FSC iroko hardwood with galvanised mild steel tops.

Established in 1986, Street Design Limited is a design and manufacture company, based in Barrow upon Soar, Leicestershire.

Street Design offers an extensive range of planters, from budget planters to versatile products in a variety of materials and finishes. Planters can be manufactured using combinations of timber, mild or stainless steel and aluminium.

A wide range of sizes, shapes and styles is available. All planters are available with a range of optional features, including: – integral seating, adjustable feet, tree anchors, self-watering systems and colour stain options.

Our range of external seating products comprises of benches with optional backrests and armrests, and are available from a range of budget seating to versatile designs that can be specified to suit most applications. The designs incorporate a range of materials that can be specified, including timber, with a choice of FSC hardwood or FSC treated softwood, or metal, with a choice of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. All seating is available for above or below ground installation. Seating can be straight or curved, free standing or wall mounted and come with a choice of finishes.
