Conference

This year’s conference sessions include world-class speakers from leading organisations providing powerful content and insights into the future of construction.

Wednesday’s conference opens with Vivalda Group Chairman, Peter Johnson, highlighting the opportunities and benefits that off-site fabrication offers the construction industry. He will discuss the challenges of successfully delivering off-site fabrication, supply chain readiness and lessons learned from other market sectors. Other sessions include talks from ITP’s managing director Marc van der Voort, who will be talking about fire safety in construction and understanding FR products. The Federation of Master Builders’ director of external affairs, Sarah McMonagle, will be discussing why the time is right to licence the UK construction sector. And, IRT Surveys will show how you can exploit drone and infrared technology to evaluate cladding and insulation in high-rise buildings.

Day Two’s programme includes a presentation from Wilmott Dixon demonstrating the importance of putting your safety first in construction as well as a talk from Evershed Sutherlands on the legal fallout from the Grenfell Tower enquiry and Dusty Gedge from the Green Infrastructure Consultancy will discuss the future for green roofs. To close off a busy two days of conference we invite you to join us for one last drink while we Call Time on Brexit. This panel discussion chaired by the BMF’s Brett Amphlett, will examine the issues vital to the future of our industry.
