Sirius, major buying group in the electrical appliance and kitchen retail industry applaud its growing network of Approved Members, as a cross-section were recognised at this year’s ERT Awards 2024 with a series of coveted award wins!

The winners were revealed at the ERT Awards on Thursday, 24th October at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London’s Covent Garden. Hosted by well-known actor and performer, Shaun Williamson, this year’s ERT Awards were once again, a certified carbon neutral event and included sustainability partners such as AEG, D.A.D, Electrolux, Haier, Calculus and The Appliance Recycling Group.

Celebrating everything from exceptional products and business pioneers to high street heroes and customer service champions, the ERT Awards is known for its simple three-step process where participants undergo an entry stage, jury stage and then final awards ceremony.

Coming as no surprise to the group, there were a number of Sirius Members who picked up a coveted award including:

Empire Kitchens & Appliances in Cannock, Staffordshire was crowned the ‘Best Independent Domestic Appliances Retailer- Small’ celebrating a family business which is going from strength to strength.

A&B Smith Domestic Appliances were ‘Highly Commended’ in this category with Jayne Fisher, also recognised in the ‘Sales Excellence’ awards category and taking the second ‘Highly Commended’ for the business.

Yorkshire-based retailer, Crampton and Moore, won the accolade of ‘Best Independent Consumer Electronics Retailer – Large’ in recognition of thousands of happy customers at its Harrogate and Rotherham stores.

In addition to its Members, Sirius got to celebrate a selection of Approved Suppliers that were also honoured. The award for ‘Best Industry Distributor’ went to D.A.D (Domestic Appliance Distributors), an amazing achievement, which the company has won three years in a row! D.A.D have been an Approved Supplier to Sirius since 2001, and have established an extremely strong relationship with group Members.
