Former YBS Insulation Sales Manager, Jason Collinge, has made the move to insulation manufacturer and supplier, SuperFOIL

The UK’s leading multi foil insulation supplier, SuperFOIL, has hired a new area sales manager for the North.

Jason Collinge, who has over 20 years’ sales experience in the construction and building industry, joins the company after two years at competitor, YBS Insulation.

In his new role at SuperFOIL Insulation, Jason will be responsible for liaising with insulation distributors and their external sales executives to build demand for SuperFOIL products and ensure stock is readily available within merchants.

He will also be responsible for delivering staff training sessions to each of his accounts in order for all stockists to understand the benefits of Multi Foils and using the products, and to teach them how to achieve U values for building regulations.

During his time at YBS, Jason played a major role in promoting and selling the company’s multifoil insulation products and was also involved in a major self-build property project. As a result of his work on this project, the client- a building control officer and local builders merchant- was able to save space, time and significant money on insulation, whilst still achieving the overall U-Values required.  With SuperFOIL’s enhanced product range & customer support, Jason hopes to bring even greater savings to a wider audience.

Within three months of starting at SuperFOIL, Jason has already been responsible for securing a contract with a major insulation stockist which is already selling SuperFOIL’s range of insulation products.

Speaking about his new role, Jason said:

“SuperFOIL is an upcoming, growing company in the insulation market so I’m really excited to be working for them. It feels great to be working with a team where everyone has one vision and where we all work together to make that vision a reality.

“I’m really looking forward to developing relationships with the customers we already have, as well as new customers that I hope to bring on board for the company. My patch is the whole of Northern England and I’m dealing with individual insulation distributors, meaning that I have more time to dedicate to each stockist to work with them and the external sales force, to ensure end users get the best product for their projects.

“I would like to thank Will Bown, Chad Bragg and the rest of the team for giving me the opportunity to join a team that is driven with passion to be the best in the industry. I can’t wait to help them grow the business and become even more successful, especially in the North.”

Earlier this year, SuperFOIL moved its entire operations to a five acre site in Lincoln after parent company, Boulder Developments, purchased the site of the former Lincolnshire Co-op Food Distribution Centre.
