Marrons has announced the appointment of four senior professionals to its London office – significantly strengthening its planning and heritage offer as the multi-disciplinary consultancy accelerates its expansion in the capital.

The new arrivals include experienced planning directors Natalie Render and Mike Moon, who join from DP9, alongside Lorraine King as heritage partner and Emma McKeown as heritage planner, both formerly of Stantec.

The appointments mark a key milestone in Marrons’ London growth strategy, with Natalie and Mike set to play a leading role in driving forward large-scale development schemes across the capital. Both will work closely with developers, investors and landowners to unlock complex urban opportunities and deliver high-impact regeneration.

Natalie joins with 12 years’ experience in planning consultancy, having delivered some of London’s most high-profile brownfield schemes across residential, commercial and mixed-use development. Her advice spans the full development lifecycle, from early-stage site acquisition through to post-determination delivery.

Natalie said: “I was attracted to Marrons because of the opportunity to help lead and shape the growth of the London business. There is a real appetite within Marrons to build a stronger presence in the capital and I’m excited to play a key role in that journey.

“Having worked on major schemes such as Old Oak West, Canada Water and Euston, I’m particularly focused on working with London’s key development partners to secure planning permissions that deliver real, lasting change for the city and its communities.”

Mike brings seven years’ experience advising on major Central London developments and regeneration projects, with a strong track record across commercial-led schemes as well as residential, co-living, student accommodation, hotel and leisure developments.

Mike said: “There is huge potential for Marrons to grow its London presence and I’m excited to help drive that forward. I’ve spent my career working in complex planning environments on major schemes in the capital, and I enjoy helping clients cut through that complexity to unlock delivery and investment opportunities.”

The expansion also reflects a significant investment in Marrons’ national heritage capability.

Lorraine has responsibility for growing the consultancy’s national heritage offer, expanding its client base and strengthening its role in multidisciplinary teams across residential, commercial regeneration and energy sectors, while Emma brings experience across archaeology and the historic environment, including listed building consents, conservation area appraisals, energy infrastructure schemes and major residential developments.
